3i has become members of the The Mobile Innovation Market (MIM) which was created by the GSMA to showcase the best of mobile innovation and to drive integration of product development with Operator business strategies and end user needs. Peter Gardner will represent 3i and be part of the judging team for the Mobile Innovation Awards during MWC Congress on the 11th and 12th February 2008.

The Mobile Innovation Global Awards recognize excellence and showcase innovation in the global mobile industry by providing the opportunity for innovators in small, young companies to present ideas to leading industry investors and mobile operators.

The finalists in each of the five categories (Most Innovative Wireless Device-Centric Technology, Most Innovative Carrier Infrastructure or Platform, Most Innovative Mobile Application in a Vertical Market, Most Innovative Consumer Application, and Most Innovative True Mobile Start Up) will present their products and services to a panel of industry judges and their industry peers on day one of the Mobile Innovation Marketplace (Monday, 11 February), with the winners of the 2008 Mobile Innovation Global Awards announced at midday on Tuesday, 12 February. All participants at the Mobile Innovation Marketplace are invited to attend the Mobile Innovation Global Awards ceremony.
