Founded in 2003, The Cloud is Europe’s leading WiFi network operator, providing sophisticated wireless local area network (WLAN) coverage in nearly 6,000 hotspot locations throughout the UK, Sweden and Germany.

The Cloud’s infrastructure is a multi-service provider platform, which allows mobile and broadband operators, internet service providers and game console companies to offer a fully branded wireless LAN experience to their customers.

The Cloud partners with major service providers including 02, BT and Vodafone, plus emerging wireless players, like Skype and the Nintendo Wifi Connection. The Cloud can support multiple devices and simultaneous user experiences and is well-placed to capture growth from the convergence of broadband, voice and data away from home market.

The Cloud installs and manages wireless hotspots and networks in public locations, including airports, railway stations, hotels, business centers and coffee shops. With The Cloud, site owners maximise their revenue potential by supporting multiple service providers at their location and customers enjoy maximum ease of use. Recent high profile deployments include Canary Wharf, The British Library, the Swedish national rail network and over 200 German hotels.

The Cloud has recently also expanded its operations to include a suite of enterprise guest access products for major corporations and urban WiFi zones in city centers.
